(They would be better off living with another family in a 3rd world country where CA cannot find them.) Imo you should write them every week and use the supervised visits to bring them your letters and gifts. Then if Mommy Dearest forbids them from reading the letters, they will know it. Always give them your address and phone number and cash every visit. They may want to run away one day.
